Matt is with FootMotion part-time while maintaining a role at the local University. He has over 10 years’ experience as a Podiatrist and also holds a Bachelor degree in Health Science (Occupational Health and Safety).
After completing his podiatry degree at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), he worked in private practice and also for the Brisbane Roar Football Club. Matt was fortunate to be involved with the clubs’ 2010-11 and 2011-12 A-league Championship victories.
Matt has been involved with QUT in a number of clinical and teaching roles since 2009. This experience has provided him with significant understanding in all areas of Podiatry. It is through these experiences that Matt found his passion for sports medicine, musculoskeletal problems and paediatric disability.
He loves to work as part of a health care team, and is an active member of both the Australian Podiatry Association and Sports Medicine Australia.
Matt is a keen golfer, runner and cyclist and believes in exercise as medicine. He likes to train each day.
