Nerylie began her podiatry career over 30 years ago working in the Diabetes Unit in a major Brisbane metropolitan hospital. Her interest in diabetes and the at risk foot (compromised circulation and sensation), led to her completing the Wesley Hospital’s Diabetes Educator’s course and a Graduate Diploma in Health Education.
Nerylie has owned and worked in private practice for over 25 years. She has held a number of leadership positions on government, podiatry association and Queensland Health committees and boards. Her clinical skills are widely recognised and well sought after by her clients and acknowledged through her appointments over the past 14 years as a university podiatry clinical supervisor.
Nerylie enjoys all aspects of podiatry, in particular working in the prevention and management of diabetes related foot problems. Nerylie has additional expertise in nail bracing which is the non-surgical correction and management for ingrown toenails.
